Plot: This cinematic follow-up to the very popular TV series continues with the complicated relationship between FBI Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) as it takes them to unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully - the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician - remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.

Our Verdict:

Green Tea says:
What so special about the new X-Files besides it's been 10 years since the last one? Unfortunately nothing. I respect and delighted about the return of Mulder and Scully back into the movie, which play an important role in the movie to remind us about their legacy once. Now for the biggest letdown is the story. The story is a standalone from any typical alien abduction or mass-supernatural theme. It lacks of suspense, actions and assurance that it will be creepy enough to be considered X-Files. It is more concentrated on one group of people and locations, lacking those creepiness or basic X-Files theme of super-supernatural. Sorry, no alien, just some freak unethical medical procedures involved. - 2.0 stars
