The ghost of the 32 years-old accusation has haunted him again. Following the custody, it may be imminent that Polanski may be extradited to the United States.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET TEASER TRAILER

When we thought that Jason had did really bad earlier this year, think again! Jason did put up with some scare-up frightening images but the remake seems to be so so. Producer Michael Bay with his Platinum Dunn has endlessly remaking old horror flicks but none had yet to claim a good startling review.

YETI IS SAM RAIMI’S NEXT ON THE LIST

Yeti is a monkey or ape-form creature that is considered as a mythological symbol for those living in the Himalayas. They will appear in a film, all thanks to Sam Raimi. We did catch how they really look like and how they can really act in last year’s The Mummy 3, the one with this woody Chinese emperor mummy that looks like Jet Li very much.
Sam Raimi (Drag Me To Hell, 30 Days of Night) has signed to produce a supernatural horror film entitled Refuge. Tom De Ville will write a script while British director Corin Hardy will be given the task to direct.
According to SlashFilm and The Hollywood Reporter, Refuge centers on a remote town terrorized by a Yeti, the mythological creature native to the mountains of the Himalayas.”
Yeti O Yeti, come terrorize the cinema!!
NOW IT’S MATTEL’S TURN FOR NEW PROJECTS
Mattel, the world’s ever popular game and toy franchise has now distributing its properties line of various toys into a money-making (hopefully) movie venture. Mattel has already had Hot Wheels, Max Steel, Major Matt Mason and a new line of deal with Universal Pictures for all of these. Words have that Sony has picked up the leftover from the failed Mattel-Warner negotiation pertaining to Master of the Universe. It was only earlier this month when the project was abandoned and now the new He-Man movie will be built again from zero as the original screenplay is under warner’s copyright.
He-Man: Master of the Universe will tell about a prince who becomes a warrior and battles a Skeletor for his homeland of Eternia. Okay, the plot sounds so familiar and again those are from the animated series, doesn’t it? No writers yet but we understand that Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists will produce.
Okay, turning to a more feminine side, Barbie could also be landed with a feature film. (Oh WHY?) Universal camp has attached producer Laurence Mark (Julie and Julia). I know this news will sooner or later materialized, but face it – we do not even have a porper story for it to mould on. Certainly, we do not want to see Barbie in a porn version or some straight out of the cartoon where she teaches how to make up properly. Slashfilm also did comment about it and we hope nothing bad happens.
We leave it out to those expert and best for writing a story. What about Diablo Cody? I knew her ever since Juno but I heard she is busy on something else.
MORE REBOOTS FROM MARVEL CAMP

It seems that nowadays we got a lot of news from Marvel Entertainment. Just when you thought Thor could a best bet here, there are plenty of words around about yet another possible new productions coming in, some as reboot.
First on the radar, let us take you to something about Ghost Rider. We have unofficial words on David Goyer (The Dark Knight, The Unborn) would be lending some ink to the latest screenplay of Ghost Rider 2. Those words are yet from been confirmed as talks are still in active mode. Variety does report that it is likely to base the sequel on Goyer's previous script writing some time ago. Avi Arad, Michael DeLuca and Steven Paul will produce the sequel and Nicolas Cage will have his skull on fire again. Despite Disney buyout, the sequel remains in Columbia Picture's hand.
Next on the list, Daredevil where it is been acknowledged that Marvel are quietly developing a new version of the movie. Now, you may have watched the 2003's Daredevil but alas how it had turned you down, but to be honest, the first Daredevil movie wasn't a total disaster. However, we know for sure Ben Affleck may not be involved when he did said how he felt stung by the reaction to the original. No writers, producers, directors or stars been attached yet but the news is concrete that the re-boot is imminent.
Third – Silver Surfer could be another possible project as well. The thing is that Fox is already announced that they will reboot the studio's take on the Fantastic Four, which the original two films – Fantastic Four and The Rise of Silver Surfer, are totally rubbish.
Well, let us look at the brighter side. Daredevil could be a potential with a reboot button but those who had watched the Director's cut was much better sanely made. Ghost Rider we hope will be better in the hands of David Goyer while retreatments are needed in various angle. Certainly, Fantastic Four without those four cheesy characters from the original could be better. I am looking forward for a darker atmospheric version of these projects – just like Batman, much subtle.
THE CAST LIST OF THOR

Now that Disney has taken over Marvel Entertainment, the good news came in as instant as impossible that the movie Thor will continue amidst the ballooning budget of more than US$ 150 million. The big budget Kenneth Branagh-directed adaptation of the iconic Marvel mythological figure has taken into storm by announcing more and more casts.
Here is some run-down of those we will see in the movie.
- Chris Hemsworth as Thor with his mighty hammer, Mjolnir
- Natalie Portman as Thor's love interest, Jane Foster
- Tom Hiddleston as Thor's nemesis, half-brother Loki
- Jaimie Alexander as Norse Goddess, Sif
- Colm Feore as an unnamed, unknown character
Thor will be released in 2011, currently tentative-placed at June 17.
The storyline of Thor would see him been sent to the Earth by his father, Odin. Once there, Thor will learn about humility and then must save his home, Asgard, from an invasion led by Earth's nastiest piece of work. – EO
Shooting has not commenced yet but we hope to hear more from it soon. Now that I remember something, I thought that Mjolnir is a hammer form that can strike lightning out of the wearer, as I always used it on Mr. Lightning Revenant in DotA. Oh well, those details fit.

FACEBOOK MOVIE IS GOING AHEAD

The Facebook drama The Social Network which we have talked about last time (here) has finally materialized. David Fincher's drama will see three influential people on its casting list now.
Justin Timberlake, who doesn't know him? He will play Sean Parker, co-founder of the international file-sharing Napster and the address book service Plaxo. He became an advisor to Facebook eventually.
Andrew Garfield will play Eduardo Saverin, one of Facebook's co-founders before his relationship with Mark Zuckerberg became sour due to lawsuits, controversial and claims.
Jesse Eisenberg is Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook man. Zuckerberg is the Harvard computer programmer who was the youngest ever entry on the Forbes 400 list. He had more than US$ 1 billion when he was only 24. Time Magazine also placed him as the 52nd most influential scientist in 2008. Of course those went on and on after that, as Facebook today can proudly claimed itself as the top social networking website in the world.
The Social Network, penned by Aaron Sorkin will focuses on Facebook's early days and its overnight success. The film will be based on the book Accidental Billionaire by Ben Mezrich which will tackle the story about sex, money, genius and betrayal. Sorkin will also produce the drama with Scott Rudin. Filming will commence soon in Boston.
I believe I can be in this movie also – because I am a Facebook user. Yeah right!
HIGHLANDER GOT A REBOOT

The Highlander franchise was pronounced dead when the fourth sequel was made. Hell yes, the franchise ended with a sad note, what was once a cult classic turned into a trash in the end.
Latest news has that – Summit Entertainment is preparing to raise Highlander again. The announcement by producer Peter S David is timely and director Justin Lin (Fast and Furious, Tokyo Drift) is now attached to the film.
The series began in 1986 in Russell Mulachy's original film where Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery swashbuckling it all out. Then three sequels, two TV series, a Saturday morning cartoon and anime followed. The series received death note in 2007's Highlander: The Source.
EO thinks that the core idea of Highlander - a secret, mysterious battle between immortals that spans centuries - was arguably never satisfyingly explored by the original films.
The new screenplay is written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. The story will centralize an immortal Scots swordman forced to fight the barbarian for a mythical prize – well, it is the same. After that, time traveling and head reattachment will also pursue. Probably that's how the story goes after that right?
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN DELAYED?

The news last week came with a high note that Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise will continue to move on. It was the long time chairman of Disney, Dick Cook who personally announced that the franchise will have a fourth adventure, given a subtitle of On Stranger Tides, while also elaborating on the plot where Captain Jack Sparrow will en route on a search for the Fountain of Youth. Those happened at the Disney D23 Expo last week.
But news quickly turned sour following sudden departure of Cook after seven years serving as the chairman. The sails were initially set for sail but now things turned into clouds of doubts.
For Johnny Deep himself, those doubts were so imminent during his interview with The LA Times over the weekend. He was not sure about the film's future and went to say, "There's a fissure, a crack in my enthusiasm at the moment… It was all born in that office." (The office here refers to Cook's office where the franchise was born and where Cook had persuaded Depp to walk on the role of Jack Sparrow on the first outing)
"He said, 'We're thinking about doing this 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie,'" Depp told the LA Times. "I said I was in. This was before there was a script or anything." Depp went on to recall that Cook had protected him and shepherded him when other Disney suits were going nuts about the leftfield nature of his Sparrow turn.
So, is the latest POTC get a hit by been delayed or worst, been cancelled? It is still early to say or speculate further but here is a thing, no Depp means no Captain Jack, no Captain Jack means a dead end for the new movie. I am sure audience want to see him again!
PATRICK WILSON ALSO JOINING THE A-TEAM

Last week, GreenTeaMovie reported that Sharlto Copley and Jessica Biel had joined the cast of Joe Carnahan's The A-Team. However, we forgot to tell you that in fact Mr Nite Owl aka Patrick Wilson will be joining the casts as well.
This time, Patrick Wilson will goes in as a CIA operative agent to hunt those four veteran soldiers who go on the run to clean their names after been accused of something they did not commit. So, the star from Watchmen is a villain?
Filming is on the way with some insiders spotted The A-Team's van which looked almost identical to the one used in the classic TV show. It has been spotted hovering around Vancouver but there are no glimpses of The A-Team.
The A-Team comprised of Liam Neeson (Hannibal), Quinton Jackson (B.A. Baracus), Bradley Cooper (Faceman) and Sharlto Copley (Murdoch). The movie will be released next year.
SPOILERS FOR RESIDENT EVIL 4 REVEALED!!

So the never-ending franchise will be back. Despite the not-so-pleasant reviews, the franchise still lives on. Resident Evil: Afterlife will be up next September and of course Paul W.S. Anderson will continue helming the series. What worth more now is some juicy news regarding the series? So here we go. [Source: EO]
First of all, Prison Break's star Wentworth Miller has joined the zombie flick. However,no revelation about the characters yet.
Secondly, Ali Larter who was in the third movie, Extinction will return as Claire Redfield.
Those casting revelations were revealed by Boris Kodjoe, an actor who's just joined the cast in an exclusive interview on the set with blackfilm.com. Not only that, he also threw in some notes about the plot. Are you ready?
"I play the leader of the survivors in LA. Milla Jovovich's character, Alice, is roaming the world looking for survivors and… she comes across an LA jail… and she lands on top of the roof and partners up with me to fight the guys that are coming after them. We're trying to get all of the survivors out of the jail to safety." – Boris Kodjoe. [Blackfilm.com] (Wait! How credible this source could be? We will check again when the real revelation comes out, but for now – subtle with these first)

SHERLOCK HOLMES 2 DEALING IN FAST
We haven't even watch Sherlock Holmes yet but Guy Ritchie's reinvention of the popular detective from Scotland Yard has been a phenomenon. Warner Bros is certainly confident that it will be a hit, thus comes a full-blown package for you – a sequel and Brad Pitt. [Source: EO]
The news has that Brad Pitt is in the talks to play the part of Professor Moriarty in the sequel. For those who grew up reading Sherlock Holmes, they all know that Moriarty is the deadly nemesis that needs no introduction. In the earlier reports (including this) has mentioned that the role may eventually appear in this December when the news surfaced that additional shooting was underwent with Pitt seems to have appeared around.
While the rumours have not been confirmed yet, the fans are cheering for it now. However, even if Mr. Moriarty did appear in the first movie, we believe he would have been unrecognizable in the movie. So, just wait and see.
The strategy of preparing a sequel before the first movie is out can be a gamble. However, Kieran and Michele Mulroney has apparently are in the midst with a screenplay which apparently, like the original version. But we do hope that Sherlock Holmes will not sink this winter so we can see a sequel, like any other movies right?
Mark your calendar and Sherlock Holmes will be out this Christmas. Sherlock Holmes stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude law and Rachel McAdams.

IT’S BEEN A LONG M.I.A.
Dear readers of Green Tea World,
I'm sorry that due to the long five-days holiday of Hari Raya, the blogs were left without any new updates and news from me. Well, as the holidays roaming in, so does the mood and I really need a time for a break then. Blogging is not anything in this world and thus a five days break isn't that much, right?
Here is something for you on these coming days where I will settle myself back into blogging mode again. Anyway, since I left without any news, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Muslim people a Happy Raya Eid-Mubarrak, Salam Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin.
With September drawing near to an end, I guess that time for Christmas again is inching closer as well.
Adios.
TRAILER TIMES POST-RAYA
This upcoming actioner will features John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. The movie will be directed by Pierre Morel and Luc Besson of Taken will produce this movie. Expecting a similar kind of Taken story in it? Perhaps. Like Taken, the movie will take the audience to go around Paris once again.
PRIEST IS GETTING BIG

Anyone who has saw the trailer of Legion would have the same eagerness and anticipation to see the final product. Legion may be Scott Stewart first directorial in his CV that also includes founded the effects house The Orphanage, but Legion could be the movie to watch. Legion would open next spring.
But let's not forget that he has another subsequent picture in the making, Priest. While Paul Bettany would be the lead role for both movie (yes, Paul Bettany will be some sort of spirit fighter in Legion and Priest), Priest has been roping in great casts as well in the process. The details of each actor can be found here at Slashfilm.
Variety has reported that Madchen Amick (Twin Peak) has been casted to take on the role of Shannon, the mother of the kidnapped girl that sets the plot in move. While she may not be famous, yet again, she has the same 'XX' factor we want.
Scott Stewart on another hand self announced it on his Twitter where the enrollment of two veteran stars; Brad Dourif (Halloween) and Christopher Plummer (the guy is legend) has been confirmed.
Previously, we have already known that Karl Urban (Star Trek) and Maggie Q (MI 3) has been casted for the movie Priest. Priest will be based on an adaptation of Tokyo Pop graphic novel of the same title, which tells the story of how a priest set out to search a missing girl whom may have something to do with evil spirit.
Priest sounds promising but I doubt it will be not easy for the censorship board to pass without slapping it hard!!

MOVIE REVIEW: G-FORCE

Running time: 88 minutes
Director: Hoyt Yeatman
Producer: Jerry Bruckheimer
Writer: Cormac Wibberley, Marianne Wibberley
Casts: Nicolas cage, Penelope Cruz, Steve Buscemi, Sam Rockwell, Tracy Morgan, Bill Nighy, Zach Galifianakis, Dee Bradley Baker
Plot: Producer Jerry Bruckheimer brings his first 3-D film to the big screen with "G-Force", a comedy adventure about the latest evolution of a covert government program to train animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. Tapped for the "G-Force" are guinea pigs Darwin (Sam Rockwell), the squad leader determined to succeed at all costs; Blaster (Tracy Morgan), an outrageous weapons expert with tons of attitude and a love for all things extreme; and Juarez (Penelope Cruz), a sexy martial arts pro; plus the literal fly-on-the-wall reconnaissance expert, Mooch and a star-nosed mole, Speckles (Nicolas Cage), the computer and information specialist.
The Verdict:
The world may need a bigger hero but we certainly do not need them now. The movie is sold under the name of Jerry Bruckheimer, considering it a timely return of the respected producer to a family-theme comedy while it is also first to note that this is Hoyt Yeatman's first directorial effort – not bad but still far cry from excitement.
G-Force comprised of guinea pigs – Darwin (Rockwell), Juarez (Cruz), Blaster (Morgan); star-nosed mole Speckles (Cage) and fly Mooch (Baker), as well as Ben (Galifianakis) as their human supervisor. When the team is desperate on the eve of a budgetary review, they went ahead with an unauthorized mission to retrieve information from billionaire industrialist Leonard Saber which contains a sinister to turn electronic appliances into a giant killing machine. However, things went wrong as they failed to prove Saber is on his evil plan and the team was dispatched. However, the team determines to prove that they were right.
The story is not inspired at all and it does not serve towards any motive at all. It was poorly written, poorly executed, too much cheesy dialogues, scenes are fast-forwarded and there is nothing to hold those into place; merely a display of non-sense plots, crappy story and inefficient story development. Seeing a bunch of cute talking animals become incomplete just by the way the story is played forward. The humours are not in anyway interesting after all while the movie is too "animated" for its attempt to become a live action feature.
However, the movie is a pleasant entertainment to swallow on. Disregard those unnecessary and non-sense storyline, you may find yourself very much into the action. For example, the issue of whether those animals are genuine or genetic-modified does not affect the motivation of the team in anyhow, therefore I find that scene is particularly unnecessary to be exploited. G-Force also offers a kind of maniac actions and thrills children will surely want to see in a kid pic, but do bear in mind; this is possibly enjoyed by children only and not by any adults. Call it mindless entertainment escapism, G-Force really execute on that note.
Character-wise, the movie possesses some high star-power rating. However, those talents failed to ignite the movie much further. Characterization is not so satisfying and thus, character development fall short than we hope.
Seeing it in 3D could be a hell of experience but why would you need to waste your bucks on that. The effects and cinematography are just average. Besides, G-Force is only a movie filled with maniac actions promised, but it does not have the quality for turning into an uninspiring story or good action movie. The dilemma here is similar as in The Race To Witch Mountain – too childish despite its attempt to provide action and thrills, but in the end, it is still a kids movie in the end. Albeit entertaining, the story goes no way.MOVIE REVIEW: ORPHAN

Running time: 122 minutes
Director: Jaume Collet-Serra
Producer: Joel Silver, Susan Downey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran
Writer: Alex Mace (story), David Leslie Johnson (screenplay)
Casts: Vera Farmiga, Peter Sarsgaard, Isabelle Fuhrman, CCH Pounder, Jimmy Bennett
Plot: Young mother Kate Coleman is devastated by the loss of her baby (and her inability to conceive again). She and her husband John decides to adopt nine-year-old Esther, in order to fill the empty space in their broken hearts. However, little did they know the child they adopted would turn out to be anything other than what they had hoped for.
The Verdict:
Orphan has created a scare among those who wants to adopt a kid and the movie committed some capital sin by putting forward such a controversial display. The movie is not a calm enjoyable story about adopting a sweet girl, but the true question of what is wrong with Esther is simply dominating the movie. You will truly enjoy the gruesome but from some technical point of view, this is just so mediocre.
The story deals with the pain Kate (Vera Farmiga) and John Coleman (Peter Sarsgaard) had to deal on their marriage after Kate's third child was stillborn. On a trip to a local orphanage, they decide to adopt Esther (Isabella Fuhrman), a 9-year-old Russian girl with good English command. Kate grows suspicious when Esther begins to behave strange, expresses far more understanding about sex and has tendency towards violence. Despite Kate's alarm, John does not believe and it leaves Kate to prove that there is something wrong about Esther. As mentioned earlier, Orphan blows the world by its controversial subject matter. First, the subject of adoption that is manipulated at such that the implications may pronounce in the society, and secondly, the stigmata and portraying the shadowy past of Eastern Europe inside what apparently normal and sweet little girl but quickly evaporates into violence and cruelty.
The story may not be easy to follow, but let us be honest; Orphan is nothing more than a sleazy, disgusting and filthy portrayal for an attempt to create horror. Let's not forget that the plot building is ample but sluggish and slow. The first hour deals in collecting details but the second half turns into mania of exposing suspense. The psychological is also enough but could be over the top, excess and exaggerating. However, those elements of surprise are too minimal, creating some sort of well expected story to garnish here.
The main thing is Orphan is never been scary but it takes on gruesome and gory elements to turn into fears. The concept is smart and creative, using a charming child actor to make things upside down even inside the guts of one watching it.
The one attraction here is the child actors. Isabella Fuhrman definitely steals all the limelight with a strong performance, adapting well with her Russian background and possesses creepy evilness that very frightening. She is terrific. Also in the credits are Max (Aryana Engineer) and Daniel (Jimmy Bennett), the Coleman's children whom create a good chemistry bonding about love and hate with Esther.
The sleaziness is such a disturbing fact in the movie. Using normal effects, the story is louder itself. Effects are minimal and the cinematographic styles are sometimes too rigid, probably suitable as a Christmas rather than a summer-produced horror. But those are not important! The essential critical perceived here is that Orphan is a disgusting, rigid, slow and poorly developed albeit entertaining psycho-thriller. You may enjoy or may not after all.
