NEWS: PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 HAS A DIRECTOR

I do not wish this to happen but apparently after Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity took in more than $151 million worldwide from a budget speckle of $15,000, Paramount Pictures has announced the sequel and Saw VI director Kevin Greutert will helm.

The script will be written by Michael R Perry and the plot details are still much under wrap. Oren Peli, the director of the original will now stay put as executive producer. Peli even said, “These guys get it, and the fans won’t be disappointed." So does that confort you a little bit? No?

Paramount also announced the release date for the sequel - a week before Halloween this year. This will put Paranormal Activity 2 will be up against Saw 7. Interesting!
