SUCKER PUNCH NEW TRAILER REVEALS MANY

The upcoming fantasy presentation from the man that will soon bring you The Man of Steel looks surprisingly good, at least for the moment. Sucker Punch, blown me with the spanking-awesome footage from this year's Comic-Con but worries me with those early mixed reviews that has making it appearance online not long ago. WARNING, those early reviews may spoils the mood and anticipation for the movie; otherwise, not so much on the story though and you can read those here.

Warner Bros has making some preparation to add some more hypes around this Zack Snyder's most extreme film yet, as some of you may want to call it. With the release of a new trailer and revelation on the movie's synopsis, we are hoping that those Snyder's magical touch may still work. "Close Your Eyes. Open Your Mind. You Will Be Unprepared." Now let's embrace yourself into more shocking revelations (or not).

First, enjoy the new trailer below that has debuted this week:

Now here is the major plot revelation (SPOILERS not possible, though). Warner Bros has confirmed what some may have speculate. The plot of Sucker Punch lies in between a fantasy video game and a parallelism with the world of dream. Wait, a dream world? Does this ring any bell of Inception after all? Read on for the plot synopsis:
“Sucker Punch” is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary.

She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls—the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)—to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm).

Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey—if they succeed—will set them free.

Well, I guess the waiting may tells you whether this movie will be great or not. Otherwise, this is your another Zack Snyder's film that fueled with idealism, stylish and dark ambiance plot. Perhaps, just like Watchmen, the camps of divided opinions may rise again. Sucker Punch arrives in theaters in the U.S. on March 25th, 2011 and still tentatively scheduled for 24 March opening locally.
