The prequel, produced by Bryan Singer will takes us back in time to the 1960s to tell the tale of the origins of the X-Men. The movie will focus on the early days of Charles Xavier (Professor X) and Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) (whom were played by Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen in the X-Men trilogy). Besides them, the movie will also explore some of the earliest mutants including Beast, Mystique and Emma Frost.
Let's take a look at the mutants.

The characters poster revealed the mutants that will be in the movie. They are (from left to right): Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Emma Frost (January Jones), Azazel (Jason Flemyng), Hank McCoy/Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Alex Summers/Havok (Lucas Till), Angel Salvadore (Zoe Kravitz - Lenny Kravitz's daughter), Raven Darkholme/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Charles Xavier/Professor X (James McAvoy)
While the poster give some idea on how they look like in the final product, it is still lagging behind since the release date is pretty much closing in. I hope the movie will get much needed publicity more than ever, considering how the X-Men has been such a popular property. Besides the characters and costumes, we also have a snippet of what looks like the first teaser poster of X-Men: First Class. After all, we are still waiting for the first trailer, right?
