72nd GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS: MOVIE NOMINATIONS LIST

Around this time of the year, the year-end movie award season is beginning to pick up the steam. Just like any other year, the best way is to jump start the two or three months long journey with the Golden Globe Awards, which is entering its 72nd edition this year, BRIEFLY: The Golden Globe Award is an American accolade bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). Once again, this year edition will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, for the third time in a row. The nominations were announced on December 11, 2014 by Kate Beckinsale, Peter Krause, Paula Patton and Jeremy Piven.

Here is the full nominees for this year's Golden Globe Awards in motion picture categories. "Birdman" lead the pack with 7 nominations each, followed by "Boyhood" and "The Imitation Game" with 5, "Gone Girl", "Selma", "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and "The Theory of Everything" are at the back with 4 apiece. The winners will be updated on January 11. In this post, I have indicated (P) for the nominee I predicted will win the particular category.
