MORE BEATLES-RELATED MOVIE

Recently, GreenTeaMovie wrote about the plan of making a motion-capture remake of Yellow Submarine by Robert Zemeckis. Empire Online and Variety yesterday reported that a biopic of the Beatles’ first manager Brian Epstein has been announced.

The movie entitled A Life in the Day will feature Epstein himself. He is famously known to have discovered the Beatles at the Cavern Club in Liverpool and eventually help them to seal their first recording contract after the first demo he funded landed in the hands of George Martin at EMI. However, he died at the young age of 32 due to drug overdose.

The script has been written by Tony Gittelson and has been picked up by the producer David Permut. It is believed that the movie will focus on The Beatles’ early days and formation, rather than their world phenomenon.
