ALIEN 5?

Only recently the online news emerged that Antal Nimrod (Vacancy) has been announced to direct the next series in Predator. Now on another camp, Ridley Scott (Kingdom of Heaven) has reported that he will direct Alien 5. Looks like both franchises are now kicking and alive. Jon Spaihts will write the screenplay. TRON 2?

Tron 2 is a confirmed project that will coming up soon. Titled Tron Legacy, the story is about Sam Flynn, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde, the movie will be released in 2010.

GREMLINS 3?

Gremlins 3, a sequel to the 1984's and 1990's comedy horror, is making a possible production. On a recent interview with Empire Online, Joe Dante siad, "I hear they're going to make another one soon." The Gremlins director also said, "I can see why - it would be stupid to let that title go to waste. The actors from the first two are too old to do a proper sequel, so I'm sure when the new one arrives it will be a remake of the original."
