The latest video game that has attracted the Hollywood studio to take into their consideration for movie adaptation is the upcoming unreleased yet, Dark Void. The news is, Brad Pitt is developing the movie project and possibly aiming for a potential starring as well. How weird?
This project file has been sent to Pitt's company, Plan B, and it may or may not have Pitt on the starring role. The most interesting of all is the fact that the video game by Capcom may not be available until coming January and it looks like Plan B is way ahead.
Dark Void is a first-person shooter in which humans try to kill hordes of ravenous star groaties. Pitt may play Will, a cargo pilot who crashes in the Bermuda Triangle and finds himself in a parallel universe where an ever-dwindling band of humans is locked in battle with an ever-growing alien threat. With the aid of some handy weapons and, intriguingly, powers, Will leads the humans in a desperate last battle to avoid becoming lunch.
Could this be a return for Brad Pitt into an action role? Green Tea Movie heard that Pitt and Reliance BIG Entertainment, the Indian company throwing tons of cash at movie projects at the moment.
