Two greatest stars will made yet another reunion soon when Harvey Keitel has signed on to the third film in the Meet The Parents series. Harvey will team up with Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro for yet another adventure of familyhood for Focker.
Well, nothing more juicier than the reunion of Keitel-De Niro, whom previously seen together in Scorsese's Mean Streets and Taxi Driver, and James Mangold's Cop Land (the last been a bomb). In The Little Fockers, Keitel is set to play a contractor who works for Stiller’s hapless Greg Focker, which will no doubt bring him into contact, and conflict, with De Niro’s tough and perma-disapproving ex-CIA man, Jack Byrnes.
Keitel is one of the many newcomers to the Fockers family series, along side Jessica Alba and Laura Dern, whom together will joined the already on-board Teri Polo, Blythe Danner and Owen Wilson. No words about Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand.
Paul Weitz (Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant) will direct the third installment while John Hamburg will give some script treatment. Anticipating Keitel and De Niro showdown? - EO
