SAM WORTHINGTON ATTACHED TO THE CRIME

Sam Worthington is heading back to the future again. After the so-so performance in 2018 setting Terminator Salvation and the upcoming futuristic Avatar, he has been attached to star in yet another future-setting movie. This time is called The Last Days of American Crime.

Set in the not-too distant future, The Last Days of American Crime involves the U.S. government's plans to secretly broadcast a signal that makes it impossible for anyone to knowingly commit unlawful acts.

The movie will be based on an adaptation from Rick Remender's comic book of the same name. The comic book will hit bookshelves beginning December 2009 bi-monthly issued in a three part. Barry Levine and Michael Schwarz are set to produce the silver-screen version.
