NEW CASTING FOR PIRATES 4 [UPDATE]

French actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey will make her US film debut when producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Rob Marshall and Walt Disney announced her casting into the Pirates Of The caribbean: On Stranger Tides. She will be casted in the key role of Syrena, a beautiful and alluring young mermaid.

I bet her role is very big and important that Walt Disney needs to flash out a decent press release after all.

Astrid will join the already announced cast of Johnny Depp, Ian McShane and Penelope Cruz. Last week, it was reported that British actor Stephen Graham was in talk to play the character Scram (not known what or who Scram is), while Sam Claffin and Max Irons were also in talks to snub another unknown role, presumably the replacement for Orlando Bloom's role in the first three films.

Shooting begins in June on locations like Hawaii, Great Britain and Los Angeles.

[UPDATE]: British actor Sam Claffin whom in above was rumoured to be joining to movie too has now been confirmed to take the key role of Philip, a young missionary.
