THE RETEAMING OF SCORSESE AND DE NIRO

The partnership between Robert De Niro and Martin Scrosese continues. MTV and Screen Rant picked up a story about their latest partnership as the most likely one of the new project Scorsese that will handle. If this is really happening, this would be the ninth time they will collaborate following exciting movies like Goodfellas, Casino, Taxi Driver and Raging Bulls.

Surfing into the past, we see the team of Oscar winners De Niro and Scorsese have created something outstanding on their crime film. My friend Reno is kind of in love with their works, simply a masterpiece and legends alive. Going in 2010, they are in talks to work on The Irishman. Back in February, we talked about De Niro and Scorsese's possible reunion project.

In fact, the same thing has resonance back the same way.
If you read on my February's post and yes it is true now that (according to De Niro), the new film will be based on the novel I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt. The novel highlights the story of frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, Mafia and his organized crime that has been linked to the murder of 25 peoples.

De Niro also said in his interview with MTV that, "We have a more ambitious idea, hopefully, to make it a two-part type of film or two films. It’s an idea that came about from Eric Roth to combine these movies using the footage from ‘Paint Houses’ to do another kind of a [film that is] reminiscent of a kind of ‘8 1/2,’ ‘La Dolce Vita..."

The plan game has that Steve Zaillian (Schindler's List) doing part one and Eric Roth (The curious Case of Benjamin Button) for part two. No further confirmation from the director yet but we know he will be busy with The Invention of Hugo Cabret and possibly a biopic of Frank Sinatra too. When it really work out? I think you just need to wait!
