Sharlto Copley aka Wikus van der Merwe is set to join the production of DreamWorkss' Michael Bay/Steven Spielberg-produced upcoming young teen alien adventure, I Am Number Four>. Wait, who Wikus van der Merwe? Oh god, where have you been?
By the way, the star of District 9 is currently on hefty talk to take the lead role for the film. The film has already have Alex Pettyfer (Alex Rider) to play the title character, Four. Copley will play as "hailed from the alien world’s serving class but now is the title character’s adult guardian and mentor."
DJ Caruso(Disturbia, Eagle Eye) will directs from the script by Al Gough and Miles Millar. The original book is oddly not out yet. But you can be the first to spoil the story all out when the book arrives in local bookshelves this autumn. The original book is written by James Frey and Jobie Hughes.
