The movie may not be presented in 3D but they found themselves someone to enroll as the commander. Taylor Kitsch who is currently busy starring in John Carter of Mars, has joined the casting for Peter Berg's Battleship.Taylor Kitsch is best known for his role Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine last year. With his involvement in Battleship, Kitsch will play Alex Hopper, a "wildly spirited" Naval commander who has to lead an international fleet of sea-going ships in the fight against a watery alien armada that has arrived on Earth for nefarious purposes.
Taylor Kitsch entry follows after Jeremy Renner departure due to scheduling issues. Jon and Eric Hoeber write the script and will be prepared for 2012 release.
