Will Forte and Saturday Night Live parody int he form of MacGruber is to hit cinemas this weekend in the Stateside. Forget the comedic parody, comes the real deal. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the TV series that inspired the parody could make its way to the big screen too.
New Line Cinema is developing MacGyver movie and has Jason Richman to pen the script. The 1985-1992 popular TV series has Richard Dean Anderson stars as the smart and energetic secret agents.Jason Richman wrote for Bad Company and draft of Beverly Hills Cop 4.
Raffaella De Laurentiis is producing “MacGyver” through her Raffaella Prods. along with Martha De Laurentiis and series creator Lee Zlotoff. Dino De Laurentiis is executive producing.
