JERRY BRUCKHEIMER PRODUCING LIGHTSPEED

With Disney as always, Jerry Bruckheimer has just picked up a new script for the mouse house - a collaborative penning of Terry Rossio and Bill Marsilii. The new script entitled Lightspeed will see Bruckheimer producing the feature film that follows the adventure of a young pilot who wins a place on the Earth Interstellar Racing Team, speeding across a galaxy that is teetering on the brink of war.

Variety reports that the unusual screenplay has no star or director attached yet. It should be interesting to see how this new action adventure will turn out as both has worked with Bruckheimer before. Rossio has worked on Pirates movies for the super producer while Marsilii had Deja Vu with him.

With Bruckheimer Films co-producing the pic, it’s planned as a big live-action adventure that might just arrive in cinemas in shiny 3D. First though, they’ll need to lock down a cast and a director.
