CASTING NEWS: MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4, RISE OF THE APES

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE IV

The Hollywood Reporter has the news that Simon Pegg is currently in negotiations to return to the Mission: Impossible IV. The film being directed by Brad Bird and we hope to see the British star will reprising his role from the third movie as lab geek Benji Dunn. The plot of M:I IV is currently kept under wrap and it seems that the movie has not received greenlight from Paramount Pictures yet. Probably it should, considering the high value property around this franchise although some may worried that the recent box office performance of Knight and Day (headlined by Tom Cruise) looks dismay. If it proceeds, it is scheduled to be released on December 16, 2011.

RISE OF THE APES

Another star from the Harry Potter needs job outside the franchise which will be shutting down soon. Reports from Screen Rant, Tom Felton (for whom he played Draco Malfroy in Harry Potter movies) will play a villain's son yet again in the prequel Rise of the Apes. So far, we know the prequel to the sci-fi classic from 20th Century Fox will deal on modern day setting of genetic engineering on apes in San Francisco that causes a high evolution jump on the primates. Felton is reportedly will play as the son of the owner of an ape facility along side his cruel father (played by Brian Cox). The movie recently has boasted the acting talents of Freida Pinto, James Franco and John Lithgow too along the way. Rise of the Apes is scheduled to arrive in theaters in the U.S. on June 24th, 2011.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK

Speaking of another Harry Potter star, he has assured himself that his career is still growing. The Harry Potter himself has found another job. Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to play Arthur Kipps in The Woman In Black. It is understood that the film revolves around Arthur, a young lawyer who is ordered to travel to the remote to sort out some deceased client's paper works. While he is there, he begins to uncover some tragic secrets around the deceased woman. We heard it is going to be a 3D thriller directed by James Watkins. We should hear about this soon while the release date is to be set.
