TRAILER: PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2, I AM NUMBER FOUR

The trailers in attention this week are the new horror for Paramount's sequel to last year's hit Paranormal Activity and DreamWorks' upcoming teen sci-fi adventure I Am Number Four. Let's start up with I Am Number Four.


I Am Number Four has been frequently on our radar for awhile. We got this since Michael Bay bought the rights for the manuscript last year till DJ Caruso was installed as the director back then. The movie is also produced by Steven Spielberg and Bay himself. The book has recently hit the book stores recently, written by Pittacus Lore, the nom de plume of authors Jobie Hughes and James Frey. The screenplay was adapted by Al Gough and Miles Millar. Catch the first teaser from the movie below:





I Am Number Four tells nine infant aliens, who closely resemble humans, flee their home planet, Lorien, to hide on Earth. An invading species, the Mogadorians, have destroyed their planet, and follow them to Earth to hunt them down. Each of the nine aliens is given a guardian and will develop superhuman powers as they become adults. They are each assigned a number. These last children of Lorien can only be killed in the sequence of their numbers. Number Four (Alex Pettyfer), also named John Smith, moves to Paradise, Ohio, disguised as an American high school student. He makes a friend, Sarah Harte (Dianna Agron), a sweet Midwestern girl who is a photographer. After being on the run his whole life, Number Four falls in love and now has something to stand up and fight for.


So far, it boasted an amazing casting with starring Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, and Callan McAuliffe. The movie is et to out 18 February 2011 in US and 24 February in Malaysia. Oh if you pay attention to the trailer, it actually says "The First one was killed in Malaysia".


NEXT UP, Paranormal Activity 2. Are you prepare to view who is actually haunting dear baby Hunter? The sequel to the highly success but not so scary after all Paranormal Activity is coming again this end of this month in US, it is speculated that the sequel will follows the relatives of Katie Featherston whom are violently haunted when a demon (and Katie herself) arrive to wreak havoc in the dead of night and terrorize the family, including Katie's baby nephew, Hunter. Catch the new scare below:



The sequel is been directed by Tod Williams and written by Michael R. Perry. Scares yourself on theaters this October 22 in US and January 6 next year in the local cinemas.
