"Apollo 18", the Timur Bekmambetov-produced space thriller is scheduled for April 22 opening but now the movie has been dumped into the January 6, 2012 - a new release date that many deems as not a good sign for movies to breathe. Weinstein Company did not give out any explanation on why the found-footage space horror was dumped into that period of the year but we do hope the studio will find the extra 9 months useful to correct what ever 'shit' they think they may have thus causing the push in date. Well, watch the trailer below and tell me what you think about the movie.
On another note, "Piranha 3DD" has surprisingly had its original release date of September 16 into the Holiday season of November 23. For your information, that date of November 23 coincides with the Thanksgiving weekend and is set to compete with other 3D gigantic titles like Arthur Christmas and Martin Scorsese's Hugo Cabret. This is highly unorthodox giving the nature of the holiday period is not really a good time for horror movie.
