Scare to visit your dentist? It's okay. Actually the dentist isn't that scary. This one is. The new red band trailer for Guillermo del Toro-produced and long awaited horror, 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' is already uploaded online now. Watch the creepy 'lose you tooth' moment right after the break.
With weeks away from the release, the new red band trailer offers nothing much new except it plays around a new tune - probably those with odontophobia should stay away. Reviews for the movie hasn't been exciting but the remake adaptation from 1973's television teleplay of the same name is in line of pursuing close to something that feels akin to Guillermo's treatment of 'Pan's Labyrinth'. The little creatures look cute but deadly - same like Guillermo's Spanish horror which received widely critical acclaim. In a similar tone, the style is passed down to Don't Be Afraid of the Dark's director Troy Nixey where it is also about a girl's interaction with the unspeakable demeanor creatures.
Troy Nixey directs a cast that includes Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison from a script by Guillermo del Toro, Matthew Robbins (screenplay) and Nigel McKeand(1973 teleplay).
