Paramount Pictures has debuted the first official poster for their upcoming 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' from director Brad Bird. The action thriller is currently slated for opening on December 21 in normal and IMAX theatres is now one of the most anticipated winter movies of the year. Catch the first poster after the break.
The latest poster invites audience to discover a rather conventional poster involving bytes and numbers arranging in skew with the now hooded-Ethan Hunt. Let the numbers do its magic, just like how the pieces work together in the poster for 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy', though it is less profounded in M:I 4. Hey, is that Ethan Hunt disguising as Eminem? Then, you also have the recognizable burning fuse right at the bottom.
The movie synopsis sounds like this:
"The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization’s name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this."
The movie stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Paula Patton. Here is the amazing official teaser trailer again, which I believe that we this new poster could only mean another trailer to up very soon:
