Sam Mendes, a reputable director who has helmed Academy Award-winning "American Beauty" and nominates "Road to Perdition" and "Revolutionary Roads" has his hand full on the shifting gears on this one. It is a safe bet at the moment that it does pick up more styles and stories as compared to the mild pace in "Quantum of Solace". At least in "Skyfall" we have a better charismatic and deadly villain unlike the one we have in the predecessor.
The synopsis of "Skyfall" is as follows:
"Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."
This Sony and MGM productions will arrive in cinemas on November 9, 2012 in the United States, two weeks earlier in Europe and on November 1 here in Malaysia; just in time for holiday swag. The film also features Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Berenice Malohe and Naomie Harris.
