JESSICA BIEL NO LONGER INVOLVED WITH THE WOLVERINE

Biel no longer as Viper (Madame Hyda)

Last week during the Comic Con, Green Tea Movie reported that Jessica Biel has been cast as Viper in The Wolverine, sequel to the first movie from 2009. With the production for the Hugh Jackman starring and James Mangold directing feature that will feature Silver Samurai as the villain, today it was reported that Jessica Biel is no longer attach to the role. Collider reported that the negotiation between 20th Century Fox and Biel has fell apart although the exact reason is not available. In the coming weeks, expect Fox to hire a new actress to take over the role.


Viper aka Madame Hydra, an imminent character from the X-Men universe. According to the comic universe, Madame Hydra will eventually "blackmailed Wolverine into marrying her as a means to secure her criminal empire in Madripoor" and "and worked alongside the Silver Samurai." The Wolverine is set to adapt from the early Marvel comics arc by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller, which sees Wolverine traveling to Japan. The Wolverine is slated to go in front of cameras this August, shooting in Japan and Australia. The film will hit theaters July 26, 2013.
