The long-delayed adult version of Hansel and Gretel movie finally has a trailer, landed online few hours ago. The Paramount Pictures presentation is about to hit the theaters with 2D and 3D formats on January 11, 2013. Check out the trailer of Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters right after the break.

This trailer looks alright but the movie may not have the essential fantasy feel we expected not does it have the Grimm-factor. It does look cheap and the witches all make-up like Saw is not an attracting one. I hope they do save some of the actions for the actual stuff because judging from the amount we get in the trailer, I have to say that we seen way too much. If they do not overkill this like Van Helsing, it will be a subtle movie after all. Otherwise, it has Jeremy Renner who shot this way before The Avengers and The Bourne Legacy.
The plot is as follows:
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters takes place 15 years after the siblings’ incident at the gingerbread house. The two are now specialized bounty hunters looking to put down the cackling black-hat set.
Directed by Tommy Wirkola, the action thriller stars Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton, Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare, Derek Mears and Thomas Mann. You Gotta Be Kidding Me!
