As an avid fan of Coldplay, I read on last Monday that they will be releasing their concert film called "Live 2012" in the next few weeks. If you are a fan of Coldplay, or at least someone who enjoyed their music as much as any other fans, do check this out. Coldplay is coming to Malaysian cinemas real soon. While this is not a confirmation of throughout details, but let the speculation begins.
From the hit-makes behind "Viva la Vida", "Speed of Sound", "Yellow" and "Paradise", Coldplay will released their first concert movie entitled Coldplay: Live 2012, comprising of footage from their recent Mylo Xyloto world Tour, completes with 16 tracks and performances. In a statement from Coldplay's official website, the concert film is scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on 13 November before finding more audiences through home entertainment a week later. Live 2012 marks their first concert film and second live album since "Live 2003".
A check on the Coldplay's website also reveals that Malaysia is one of the 50 countries where the movie will be released in cinemas. A check on the concert and ticketing section reveals these:
Apparently, Coldplay: Live 2012 will be released in three GSC Cinemas - 1Utama, MidValley and Pavilion KL. Most likely it is happening although we are still without a proper confirmation from Golden Screen Cinemas yet! Fans of Coldplay or those who enjoy their music, get ready!
