Marc Webb plans the new sequel to last year's "The Amazing Spider-Man" for a release on May 4, 2014 with shooting to begin next month. Besides having Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone reprising their roles, TASM 2 will also have Shailene Woodley as M.J. Watson and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osbourne.
EVIL DEAD IS PROUD OF ITS NC-17 RATING
The remake of "Evil Dead" has received an NC-17 rating from MPAA, reports Coming Soon this morning. Director Fede Alvarez playfully, took the rating news straight to the Twitter where he showed his infinite "proud" of getting the hard rating:
Getting an NC-17 spells a limited success becuase theaters will most likely shun the movie as the marketing appeal will decrease. But judging by the gory trailer we get last month, I am not surprise by the rating. Nevertheless, the team will undergo some more post-production by getting it edited in order to obtain an R-rating.On the concern if the cut will compromise the end product, Alvarez later tweeted:
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival. "Evil Dead" opens April 12. The trailer is embedded below:
