2012 has come to an end after another exhilarating 366 days of movie-watching year. In 2012, I have watched about 104 movies but I only manage to review a handful of those only. Continuing the tradition of ushering into a new year for the fifth time in a row, Green Tea Movie will be looking back at the year’s movies as a whole. To start with our three-part feature over the next three days, we will be looking back at the year’s stinkers. These, I present to you the list of ten worst-reviewed movies of the year for which you can read after the jump. Here is the recap for honourable stinkers for 2011.
NOTE: (1) The list is highly-based on Green Tea Movie's opinion and does not reflect external or general consensus. (2) The list covers movies watched from 31 December 2011 till 30 December 2012. Some movies released in 2011 may have been included, for example The Darkest Hour which was watched on 1 January 2012. (3) The scores are based on several criteria including Green-Tea-O-Meter and rating for Plot.
This British product is an overlong vertigo experience that copies Jurassic Park but to no avail, as the hollow plot and characterization means it will be unlikely for anyone to care about the discovery at all.

REVIEW: http://greenteamovie.blogspot.com/2012/08/movie-review-dinosaur-project.html
This Amanda Seyfried-starrer has everything that is possible to make it a likeable film but it lacks the thrilling effect, relying more on cheap plot progression and a terrible climatic offering. Disappointing!

Shark is a good topic for a bad movie. Look at the case of 2011's The Shark Night 3D. This movie about the dangerous animal creature known as the Great White Shark has full potential to break-out but as much it is a wildly unattractive, messy but a non-stop bloody adventure movie to gulp.
GREEN TEA MOVIE SCORE: 24.59%
REVIEW: Not Reviewed, formally.
Insanely derivative, pointless and diversionary piece of science fiction. Guy Pearce, oh God why?
GREEN TEA MOVIE SCORE: 23.57%

A poor rip-off of The Hills Have Eyes; less bloody and less provocative. With a grand setting and interesting premise, the film fails to provide a satisfying payoff to the slow, directionless plot and real terrifying moments are incredibly short.
GREEN TEA MOVIE SCORE: 22.54%
REVIEW: http://greenteamovie.blogspot.com/2012/09/movie-review-chernobyl-diaries.html
A boring, uniquely disturbing and outlandish at all area, although the only good thing about this movie is that it is more 'kick-ass' than the first one
GREEN TEA MOVIE SCORE: 20.93%
REVIEW: http://greenteamovie.blogspot.com/2012/03/movie-review-ghost-rider-spirit-of.html
A ridiculous science-fiction alien movie that tries to cover the bad, uninspiring and flat storyline with cool pseudo-scientific concepts, but eventually still fail to impress and avoiding another ditch hole like Skyline. This movie makes Battle: Los Angeles feels better.
GREEN TEA MOVIE SCORE: 17.04%
REVIEW: http://greenteamovie.blogspot.com/2012/01/movie-review-darkest-hour.html
Worst ending, check. Worst horror scenes, check. Messy screenplay, check. Scary...not.

A garbage movie that goes nowhere with its weak and random plot, over-the-top and unfunny humors and lacks of sensibility. I would have just watch Nasi Lemak 2.0 again.
