Seriously what were they thinking when they came up with this decision? Watching Twilight Saga will now be even painful when you consider the fact that the story pace is so slow and sloopy. Read my takes on The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
With third outing, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has finished shooting and awaiting release for this June, news of rumours has that Summit Entertainment may be considering (thanks to Variety and EO) making the last book Breaking Dawn into two parts - a similar move was made by Warner Bros on their darling Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
With this possibility means Summit would need to fork out more cheques for everyone involved in the vampire flick - with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are all signed up for only four movies. So, do your calculation now folks.
Meyer stated in her Breaking Dawn FAQ that if a film were to be created, she thought it would have to be made into two movies because "it's hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes. The book is just so long! I can't imagine how to distill it—if I could, the book would be shorter."
No director has been attached but Summit has expressed interest on New Moon's Chris Weitz. Weitz recently said he will not do any Twilight-related stuffs but he will focus on directing a small-scale drama The Gardener. Read the story here.
Well Twilight lovers, this is a good news because you can see Edward and Jacob half-naked for another round. David Slade's Eclipse will be released on June 30, 2010.
I think many Twilight fans will wait for this movie badly :)
