REAL STEEL TEASER NOW ONLINE

Shawn Levy directs and Hugh Jackman stars along with some CGI robots. Real Steel is an upcoming action drama film inspired by Richard Matheson's short story "Steel". The movie sets in the near future where human boxing is been banned. The synopsis of the movie sounds like this:
Hugh Jackman plays Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.
This marks author Matherson's latest work been adapted as a movie, previously and the last been I Am Legend. Now, DreamWorks and its new partner Touchstone have enrolled a teaser, first look into the movie. Looks like 2011 is a year of clinging and fighting robots and it took a central stage together with the new Transformers: Dark of the Moon trailer at the same week. Now, enjoy the teaser trailer below:

Real Steel will punching into the cinemas on October 7, 2011 in the United States and is currently slated for October 13 release in Malaysia.
