TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON TEASER IS HERE

As expected, the new teaser trailer for the new Transformers movie has finally landed online after the possibility was discussed in Green Tea Movie last week. The third installment, perhaps been the last in the series has been entitled Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, in case you didn't know. Yes, as Michael Bay promised, the new teaser has arrived in conjunction of the release of the third Narnia movie which is in 3D in America.

Before we proceed to GTM's commentary, let's look at the trailer now:

The first 75 seconds confirms the all along suspicions that the movie will based on the history back during the space race between the United States and Soviet Union. First, we have clues like "20 July 1969" and "Apollo 11" been mentioned in the preview. Then, we have ourselves been hidden from a secret for the last 40 years. An mechanical extra-terrestrial machine crash-landed on the hidden site of our moon.

The middle part of the trailer portrays some archeological depiction of the findings on the moon. This reminiscent some of the elements surrounding the mythological and the existence of the Transformers, that has been promised by Bay in the interview earlier.

The last part which constructs the last 30 seconds of the trailer can only be described by the picture below:

Who is this Transformers? We know it is an Autobot - since the facial structure resembles Optimus Prime and the blue light the eyes emitted on the end of the trailer. Could this be Alpha Trion, as Screen Rant proposed? Alpha Trion is one of the Original Thirteen Transformers…He is generally depicted as an ancient mechanoid with a link to Optimus Prime.

Head on to Screen Rant and Slash Film for additional discussion. The first teaser does not give much of the story structure but as usual, we need to wait for the second trailer before more cna be reviewed. Transformers: Dark Of The Moon will arrives in 3D and 2D format this July.
