BRUCKHEIMER NOW GOING FOR WORLD WAR ROBOT

Looks like Jerry Bruckheimer’s production shopping list seems endless. The latest, it was reported at Variety that the super fame producer of megahits like Armageddon, The Rock and the upcoming Prince of Persia has secured the rights to Ashley Wood and Jon Gibson’s graphic novel World War Robot.

No director has been attached. Ashley Wood and Ted Adams will serve as the executive-producers. Some minor details, the movie will be told in war-diary form in snippets of both sides of human and Martian. The conflict will involve a heavily galactic battle via proxy robots smashing things on the outer planet or moon.

Not many details here but one should be reminded that this is not the same as another war-diary potential format with similar styles as Mark Foster’s project on World War Z, which involves zombie.
