You have read it before in one of my post where Nicolas Cage is such a busy man and for one moment, Nicolas Cage decided to leave the set of Green Hornet. While he was expected to play a villain role in the movie, his departure has left the role empty. It was believed that the actor and Sony Pictures were not able to come to terms on a deal.According to certain source, the role of Chudnofsky has been given to the breakout star of Inglorious Basterds – Christoph Waltz. Soon-to-be-53, Waltz may not be a familiar star name but his role as Nazi ‘Jew Hunter’ Colonel Hans Landa in that Quentin Tarratino’s action flick has won him some attention while also land him a Best Actor prize at Cannes.
Waltz may have already on the set of the film. Green Hornet is directed by Michel Gondry and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou and Cameron Diaz. The movie is slated for 17 December 2010 release.
