The upcoming George Nolfi's political thriller The Adjustment Bureau is on a hot seat. With the production already starting, news has that more and more personal will be involved in this movie.
The loose adaptation of Philip K Dick, the man behind those script sources for Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, Paycheck and A Scanner Darkly - will be treated by Nolfi himself. If it is Dick's work, it has to be a sci-fi.
Here are the rundown of the list of casts for this feature:
- Matt Damon will play David Norris, a smooth-talking congressman whose political future is thrown in doubt by uncontrollable events around him
- Emily Blunt will play Elise Sellas, a beautiful ballet dancer
- Anthony Mackie
- Shohreh Agdashloo (rumoured)
- Terence Stamp
According to our friend in EO, these three will join in the shady organization:
- Michael Kelly as Charlie Traynor, Norris' best friend and campaign manager
- Daniel Dae Kim
- John Slattery
The Adjustment Bureau will be released for a targeted Fall 2010.
