Variety and EO reported that the former sexiest man alive, George Clooney is now entering talks to star in Alexander Payne's latest comedy drama, The Descendants. The movie reportedly been under the helm of Fox Searchlight will see the return for Payne since his 2004 critical-acclaimed and Oscar nominated Sideways.
While the rumours have, Clooney may chalked up the role of a wealthy landowner who in a desperate bid to keep his family together, takes his two young daughters on a trip to meet his wife’s lover.
Nat Faxon and Jim Rash will write the script that adapted from Kaui Hart Hemmings' novel. Filming will start as early as February 2010.
