JAKE GYLLENHAAL SET TO STAR ON SOURCE CODE

Duncen Jones, the director of this year's finest sci-fi Moon (not many will know apparently but here is Wikipedia in case you need one) has signed on to direct Source Code. The near future thriller about a soldier who mysteriously waking up in somebody's body on a commuter train, clueless with a bomb ticking on countdown for take off, may seems like another piece of action. At the moment, the thriller is attracting Jake Gyllenhaal who is in talks to star in the thriller.

With Source Code moving in fast, this put Jones' Mute on hold following difficulties to obtain a budget of US$ 25 million. The supposedly next movie project for Jones seems gloomy now, but things have to move on with Source Code.

Source Code, an original script by Ben Ripley will also see Billy Ray (recently adapting a 6-hours BBC's State Of Play and in process of writing movie about Somali pirates) been handed with the rewrite.

Mark Gordon (speed, Saving Private Ryan) is tipped to produce. Filming starts this spring.
