DREAMWORKS PREPARE FOR RACING DREAMS

A documentary film about kart racing is to be turned into a feature film with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, the pair behind the writing board of Transformers and Star Trek, producing. According sources from Variety, a writer is due to be hired in the next weeks to give it a script. The project is entitled Racing Dream.

The original documentary will follow three young men competing in the World Karting Association's National Pavement Series. They eventually becomes successful drivers and launched their career towards a NASCAR series.

The project has been deemed as a new revolution as Hollywood studios are raing in to make documentaries film in wake of planned adaptations like King of Kong and Crazy Love.
