The news came so quick following Robert Downey Jr's departure from Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens. Collider.com reported that Daniel Craig has been offered the lead role for the Western/Sci-fi mashup by DreamWorks.
The movie, written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof will see Jon Favreau collaborating with James Bond for the first time. But what I can say now is that no confirmation yet if Craig is going to sign in. Collider prefers the use of "in negotiations", so I hope the best for the deal to come to reality.
