You need some one to bring all five action superhero into one. Marvel's ambitious project of compiling them into a single movie known as The Avenger is indeed one of the juiciest one in town. The latest? Joss Whedon is in final talk with the studio for the director seat.
Let's recap. We have Jon Favreau for Iron Man, Kenneth Branagh for Thor, Joe Johnston for Captain America and Louis Letterier for The Incredible Hulk. Now, Joss Whedon - a respectable name in the geek industry but may be a questionable and doubt for many fans. Although the job was initially offered to Jon Favreau, he turned down the job for Iron man franchise and the new Cowboys & Aliens. In fact, in the cases prior to Joss Whedon's name even been mentioned, Favreau is the best choice considering how he had turned Iron Man into what it is today.
What do you think? Although this is not something that I have been expecting for, chances are you may get a good turnout for assembling all Marvel hot properties into one. Even, Screenrant mentioned about his surplus for been knowledgeable about comics and the characters, thus it would be an okay choice after all.
The current list of The Avengers casting has already have Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America) and Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury) on the confirmed seat. Expect Chris Hemsworth to say yes for his Thor too. Edward Norton is still rumoured to return as Bruce Banner/Hulk.
