It's been years since we last saw Hayden Christensen. The young man from the Star Wars Saga, who played the iconic Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader is also the familiar face in Jumper. Now, to those missing him, fear not! He's just signed on to star in thriller The Genesis Code, based on the novel of the same title by the acclaimed author, John Case.In Genesis Code, the story is about Joe Lassiter, an ex-FBI agent who starts to investigate the murder of his sister and her young son. His investigation leads him to tie-in several others connected murders, that has something to do with a religious cult organization called The shadow of the Cross.
David R Ellis is directing the movie from a screenplay by Kevin Bernhardt. It looks like this is going to be another cross over between The Da Vinci Code and Bourne. Doubtful? Probably. Christensen has yet to establish himself as a great actor but the role although seems too old for him should not be a trouble for him.
