At first glance, this is something that we less expected for. Matt Damon returns to the form of thriller and he now has the British beauty Emily Blunt on his side. The Adjustment Bureau is based on an adaptation of Philip K Dick's short novel Adjustment Team, which revolves around a smooth-talking congressman whose political future is thrown in doubt by uncontrollable events and the arrival in his life of a mysterious ballerina.
Mark Philip K Dick's name - which science fiction novel he wrote that never pull up some string of surprise and mysterious nature to embrace at. Even the miss-hit like Next looked awesome in theme and concept, but Lee Tamahori decided to screw it up.
Enough of that; Matt Damon will play David Norris, a former Fordham University basketball player and charismatic United States Congressman who seems destined for national political stardom. He meets a beautiful ballet dancer named Elise Sellas, played by Blunt, only to find that strange circumstances keep them from becoming romatically involved. Norris discovers forces are at work to keep them apart, and he peels the layers to find out why. The action takes place in various places in Manhattan.
