TRAILERS: SPLICE, SECRETARIAT AND JONAH HEX

We have not one but three trailers for featured this week. Those three are Splice, Secretariat and Jonah Hex.

JONAH HEX
The DC Comic character will get its final marketing push in the early summer for a June 18th release. In Jonah Hex, The U.S. military makes a scarred bounty hunter with warrants on his own head an offer he cannot refuse: in exchange for his freedom, he must stop a terrorist who is ready to unleash Hell on Earth. He is hired to track down Quentin Turnbull, with whom he shares a troubled past. Early rumors emerged about a zombie army or Quentin trying to rewin the war, but these were dismissed when producers said "Quentin is more of a terrorist upset about the outcome of the war not someone trying to fight and rewin it." Starring Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Megan Fox, directed by Jimmy Hayward.

Looks promising

SPLICE
The independent production has a similar fate as the one we have about Jonah Hex. Both have an opening in June but the new trailer only featured at the end of April. But Splice has been a name to whisper aftre it was featured at this year's Sundance. The horror flick Splice portrays two young scientists (Brody and Polley) achieve fame by splicing human DNA with the DNA of different animals to create a new creature. In the process they ignore their society's ethical and legal boundaries. The scientists name their creature "Dren," which is initially a deformed infant. However, it rapidly develops into a deadly, winged human-chimera. It is scheduled to be released on June 4 under Warner Bros with Adrian Brody and Sarah Polley as the main leads.

I have to admit, freaky SCARRY!!

SECRETARIAT
Walt Disney presents Secretariat; being directed by Randall Wallace. Diane Lane portrays Secretariat's owner, Penny Chenery, and John Malkovich plays the part of Secretariat's trainer, Lucien Laurin. The story involves Penny Chenery and her United States' Hall of Fame racehorse, Secretariat who, in 1973, became the first horse in twenty-five years to win the United States Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. The story centers around Penny Chenery who took over the financially troubled Meadow Stable from her ailing father and guided the horse through his Triple Crown season. Other key characters are trainer Lucien Laurin and jockey Ron Turcotte. Opening October 8 in Stateside, it's all about horse-racing!

Looks inspiring!!
