Transformers 3 will start the principal photography on July 4th at Chicago. Well, that is just in time for some carnival extravaganza in conjunction with the Independence Day.
Director Michael Bay has already set up base camp for the film outside the city of Chicago and for the last couples of weeks have been working around for location spot. As reported in Green Tea Movie before, the shooting will also involve city of Moscow. (link 1) and (link 2)
Chicago will be expected to earn millions due to the production. Previously, films like A Nightmare In Elm Street and Public Enemies was shot in this city. Chicago is also serves as a layout for Christopher Nolan's Batman series and with the announcement of Batman 3, the city will again enjoy a much needed boost.
