Paul Thomas Anderson is a fine director - producing critical hits like Punch-Drunk Love and There Will Be Blood. The latter received massive attention on Oscar few years back, although my review has not been that stellar. Continuing his fine run, his upcoming Untitled Religious Film (basically untitled yet!) has boasted with three female key casting. Armanda Seyfried, Emma Stone and Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood) are all being considered for a role in the movie, most probably the role of Elizabeth, the daughter of 'The Master' and Mary Sue.
I am not sure what is this project will tackle on, possibly Screen Rant thinks that it may have something to do with the 'formation of a 20th century religious cult that sounds like it’ll bear more than a passing resemblance to Scientology'.
If indeed the any of the three ink the deal, they will join Philip Seymour Hoffman as 'The Master' (according to Collider, a charming intellectual who hatches a faith-based organization that begins to catch on in America in 1952) and Jeremy Renner as Freddy, a loyal subordinate to 'The Master'. Similarly, Reese Witherspoon is reportedly engaged in a negotiation to play the religious leader’s pregnant wife, Mary Sue.
