MICHAEL BAY TALKS ABOUT TRANSFORMERS 3

An article at Screen Rant which you can enjoy reading at here, revealed more stuffs about Transformers 3. Director Michael Bay had an exclusive interview with USA Today and he had poured in more favourable stuffs on the film.

[ABOUT THE BAD TRANSFORMERS 2] But first of all, I am sure not many will forgive him for what he had done on Transformers 2. Yes, we all know it sucks but Bay admitted that there were some problems regarding the 2009 sequel and he is willing to accept some of the criticism.
I’ll take some of the criticism… It was very hard to put (the sequel) together that quickly after the writers’ strike (of 2007-08).
To further improve the third franchise, which he is currently shooting, Bay said that there won't be anymore childish forced humour and many characters will be killed off. Characters like Skids and Mudflap (The Twins) will not be back for Transformers 3, in which Bay said that both are basically gone.

[THE STORY ON TRANSFORMERS 3] The story of Transformers 3, according to Screen Rant, promises to bring back a notable plot around the space race between the Soviet Union and the United States, possibly due to the effect of Cold War. For that Bay said:
The movie is more of a mystery… It ties in what we know as history growing up as kids with what really happened.

[THE MAIN VILLAIN] On regards of who will be the featured villain, Bay said that it will be Shockwave. The Decepticon is the main rival of the leader, Megatron. Shockwave is both unique in his character traits and visual design. He is more robotic in look, with only one eye and his alternative form is that of a giant cannon instead of an Earth-based disguise.

[IS IN 3D] Also, Bay reveals that the film will be in 3D. However, a bad news is that, the 3D technology will be incorporated during the post-production and I bet the effect may look like Clash Of The Titans. Oh great! But anyway, the third Transformers is arriving July 1, 2011. Do check out the other Transformers 3 update by clicking on Transformers 3 tag below.
