SCREAM 4 CASTING CHANGES

This will be a short update for Wes Craven's Scream 4. It seems that the slasher horror flick will see several changes on the line up of the casting. Scream 4 is currently on production for a release on spring next year. So here are some timeline of the previous development:

• 21/05 - IN: Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette return for smaller role. They were the main lead in the first three Scream movies. Entering the franchise for the first time were Ashley Greene, hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella and Lake Bell
• 28/05 - IN: Lauren Graham, Emma Roberts OUT: Ashley Greene 
• 27/06 - OUT: Lake Bell, Lauren Graham

The latest update over the week has that these fresh faces are now in Scream 4, by The Wrap: Adam Brody (The OC), Marley Shelton (Grindhouse) and Erik Knudsen (Scott Pilgrim vs the World). Oh wait, there's also an addition of Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica) and Alison Brie (Mad Men) as well. The Wrap is also confirming the departure of Lauren Graham from the casting line up due to her conflict scheduling with her NBC series Parenthood.


Is the casting line up of the current list seems confusing? Me too... Anyway, on the side notes, Scream 3 writer Ehren Kruger is rewriting Scream 4. How was that? As far as we all know, Kevin Williamson is writing the script for Wes Craven to direct.
