However, the sad news is that DiCaprio has left the project and it was presumably due to Gibson's domestic abuse scandal. The movie is set to be Gibson's last directorial which based on a script by William Monahan. Now, is the project dead or we could see a new add-in soon to continue this. THIS MEANS WAR The long planned 20th Century Fox's film This Means War has some shake up on the casting line up. We know that Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine have attached to the project with director McG (Joseph McGinty Nichol) on the helm. Latest news from Vulture has that Sam Worthington has no longer on the casting but has now been replaced by Tom Hardy, whom we have seen him doing great jobs of acting in Inception. I'M.MORTAL No matter how you read the title, it stands for an intriguing new sci-fi action film from Andrew Niccol. It is also the one that Justin Timberlake will be taking up its leading role along with Amanda Seyfried. The script will be written and the film will be directed by Niccol himself who has titles like Gattaca, S1mone and Lord Of War under his directorial belt. I'm.mortal will explores the world where humans are genetically engineered to remain at athe age of 25 and must pay for time to remain alive thereafter. Timberlake would play a rebellious, lower-class man who is falsely accused of murdering a wealthy patron for his time and must go on the run. On the other hand, Seyfried will appear as a beautiful, upper-class citizen who is taken hostage by Timberlake. The two struggle to remain alive while evading the forces of the oppressive society in which they live.

RAISED BY WOLFS An original comedy for DreamWorks and it now has Steve Carell on the starring and production job. Carell will produce the movie through his production company, Carousel Productions. The details of the plot remain tight and it will be written by Les Firestein. As you can see, Wolfs is a wrong spelling for the plural of wolf but THR claimed that that could be the lead character's last name.

THE RETREAT We used to report this film once and we know that it is a story about a couple who rent a remote island cottage while trying to repair their marriage. One day they find a bio-hazard-suited soldier washed up on the beach, who warns them that everybody on the mainland has been killed by an airborne virus. Now the Carl Tibbetts-directed feature has Inception's Cilian Murphy and Thandie Newton on the starring role. Sony Pictures has bought the rights and shooting is expected to underway this September.
