MICHEAL NYQVIST JOINS 'MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4'

Tom Cruise, JJ Abrams and Brad Bird's big project on the fourth Mission: Impossible movie has added a new cast this weekend. For the fourth franchise which aiming for a reboot button while continuing the story from the first three series, Cruise has assembled a team consisting of new and returning members. As far as we have concerned, Jeremy Renner will be his right-hand man, Paula Patton will be the young female operator in the team, and Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg will be returning.

Weeks ago, we heard that Noomi Rapace was on town for some discussion about starring, but she eventually passed out this series for a French gypsy role in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes 2 project otherwise. Now, we have a confirmation news from Paramount that Michael Nyqvist will be taking a villainous role in the movie.

Michael Nyqvist, the Swedish actor best known for his work as journalist Mikael Blomkvist in the Millenium trilogy (two films I have watched but unreviewed yet) is in fact an intriguing choice. However, the only one pop-question in my mind is how suit Nyqvist is with these villainous role despite his competent performances.

Nevertheless, I rest assured to myself that this Mission Impossible movie should be the most exciting one with the addition of Mr Nyqvist, while I have been over the radar for months for this project. Big castings and more internationally mission so far will be a good sign for redeeming the glory of MI. Looks like we will saw the team heading away for Vancouver, Prague and Dubai soon, with shooting set to commence end of this year under direction of Brad Bird.
