    Are you swaying into the Holiday season yet? If you are, let's make sure those wallet are full because you may need extra cash for Christmas presents, Christmas dinners and not forgetting; some time at the box office counter. As we heading into the last month of the year, December is the great month for movie watching. You have variant family movies, science fiction epic and some comedy to tame your wild heart. Let's look at some movie highlights for December.

    DUE DATE 2 December 2010 - Warner Bros Picture

    WHAT IS IT ABOUT? Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) is an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan - on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.

    WHO IS IN IT? Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr., The Hangover's Zach Galifianakis, Ray's Jamie Foxx; and directed by Todd Phillips.

    STATUS - The movie open with a US$ 30 millions in the US Box Office last month. Go figure?


    THE SOCIAL NETWORK 2 December 2010 - Sony Pictures

    WHAT IS IT ABOUT? On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications. From director David Fincher and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin comes The Social Network, a film that proves you don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies. The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca, and Cean Chaffin and based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires" by Ben Mezrich.

    WHO IS IN IT? Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Rooney Mara, Rashida Jones and many more, from the acclaimed director David Fincher.

    THE WARRIOR'S WAY 3 December 2010 - Relativity Media (under Nusantara Edaran Filem)

    WHAT IS IT ABOUT? "The Warrior's Way," a martial arts western starring Korean actor Jang Dong-gun ("The Promise") who plays an Asian warrior assassin forced to hide in a small town in the American Badlands. He meets the town drunk played by Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush ("Shine"), and a circus knife thrower played by Kate Bosworth ("Superman Returns"), both of whom have powerful secrets. The fantasy action film was written and directed by newcomer Sngmoo Lee, and is being produced by Barrie M. Osborne ("The Lord of the Rings"), Jooick Lee ("Seven Swords") and Michael Peyser ("Hackers").

    WHO IS IN IT? It has Korean superstar Jang Dong-gun, Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush and Danny Huston in it.

    STATUS - Still looks unconvincing but will definitely gives it a try.



    WHAT IS IT ABOUT? "The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader" centres on Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their pesky cousin Eustace Scrubb. The trio find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to a fantastic Narnian ship headed for the very edges of the world. Joining forces once again with their royal friend Prince Caspian and the warrior mouse Reepicheep, they are whisked away on a mysterious mission to the Lone Islands and beyond. On this bewitching voyage that will test their hearts and spirits, they will face magical Dufflepuds, sinister slave traders, roaring dragons and enchanted merfolk. Only an entirely uncharted journey to Aslan's Country - a voyage of destiny and transformation for each of those aboard the Dawn Treader - can save Narnia, and all the astonishing creatures in it, from an unfathomable fate.

    TRON LEGACY 16 December 2010 - Walt Disney Pictures

    WHAT IS IT ABOUT? ollowing the 1982 original, this reupdate is a 3-D cyber adventure set in a digital world where Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programmes and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidante (Olivia Wilde), both father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

    WHO IS IN IT? It has (Kevin Flynn) Jeff Bridges as the good and the bad, (his son Sam Flynn) Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde and Michael Sheen. John Kosinski directs and DaftPunk plays the score.

    STATUS The movie event of the year, MUST WATCH!!


    GULLIVER'S TRAVELS 23 December 2010 - 20th Century Fox

    WHAT IS IT ABOUT? Based on the Jonathan Swift classic, Jack Black is bigger than ever...as Gulliver, a perpetual underachiever and wannabe travel writer at a New York newspaper. When he finally ventures out of the city to write a travel piece, a storm-tossed voyage lands him on an island inhabited by tiny folks called Lilliputians. Gulliver brings them modern-day wonders like a PDA and music video game -- while they help him kick it old-school during his travels through this unforgettable world.

    MEET THE PARENTS: THE LITTLE FOCKERS 23 December 2010 - Paramount Pictures (under United International Pictures)

    WHAT IS IT ABOUT? Third installment in the Meet the Parents franchise. The test of wills between Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) and Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) escalates to new heights of comedy in the third installment of the blockbuster series -- Little Fockers. Laura Dern, Jessica Alba and Harvey Keitel join the returning all-star cast for a new chapter of the worldwide hit franchise.     WHAT IS IT ABOUT? Revolves around Frank (Johnny Depp), an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise (Angelina Jolie) is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Venice, Frank pursues a potential romance but soon finds himself the pursued as he and Elise are caught in a whirlwind of intrigue and danger.

    WHO IS IN IT? Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, could we ask more?
