We in Malaysia have not tuned to Paranormal Activity 2 yet. The horror-captured-on-video movie will not released until January 2011 here but there are already talks mulling for the third movie. Did you see that coming?
Paranormal Activity 2 is milking enough money that Paramount Pictures felt that with the total box office at US$ 156 million worldwide, it is ample to get the third one going. Reported at Slash Film, director of the original and producer of the second one, Oren Peli has told Dread Central that Paranormal Activity 3 will making its way on 21 October 2011. That is exactly the same weekend that the previous two Paranormal Activity movies have been harboring on.
No news yet on the story or the creative team behind the new planned movie. Could this be just the continuation of more mysteries? I have not watched the second yet so tell me if you think there is something bothering you.
